From May 27 to 29, 2025, the XVII Russian Scientific and Educational Forum with International Participation "Medical Diagnostics – 2025" was held at the Science and Technology Center Skolkovo Technopark.
The forum traditionally served as a platform for diagnostic specialists of various modalities to share experiences, listen to speakers on current topics, and enhance their professional knowledge.
Main events included the XIX All-Russian National Congress of Radiology and Therapy "Radiology – 2025," the XVII All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Functional Diagnostics – 2025," the IV All-Russian Congress "Academy of Laboratory Medicine: Latest Achievements – 2025," the XVIII Scientific and Practical Conference of Interventional Oncologists, the IV Scientific and Practical Conference "X-ray Endovascular Surgery: Issues of Therapeutic Endovascular Occlusion," the XVII International Specialized Exhibition of Equipment, Technology, and Pharmaceuticals for Human Disease Diagnostics "MEDiagnostics – 2025," and the International Specialized Exhibition of Laboratory Medicine Equipment and Technologies "LabExpo – 2025." Notably, the Scientific and Practical Conference "Military Radiology" was organized for the first time, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The three-day scientific program of the Forum featured over 80 events: sessions, master classes, symposia, and round tables, where experts discussed modern diagnostic and therapeutic methods, the implementation of artificial intelligence, radionuclide technologies, and personalized medicine, important issues and key topics in clinical laboratory medicine, and presented new scientific achievements in all areas of functional diagnostics. Special attention was paid to the development of multimodal imaging techniques – MRI, CT, scintigraphy, ultrasound with contrast agents and elastography, as well as issues of improving the safety of radiation methods.
The specialized international exhibition of equipment, technology, and pharmaceuticals for human disease diagnostics "MEDiagnostics – 2025" became a training platform where participants could ask manufacturers about the modern capabilities of radiation diagnostics apparatus, including hybrid systems, and gain practical skills by participating in masterclasses led by experts.
Russian and foreign leaders – manufacturers and distributors of modern medical diagnostic equipment – took part in the exhibition.
Following the Congress of Radiation Diagnosticians and Therapists "Radiology – 2025," industry representatives were awarded for their contributions to the development of radiation diagnostics, and Professor Gromov Alexander Igorevich was elected as the new President of the "Radiology – 2026" Congress.
According to official statistics, over 3000 specialists from 10 countries, 229 cities, and 74 regions of the Russian Federation participated in the Forum.
